November 12-14

We took a 2 month break from camping and actually thought that we were done until the spring, but suddenly decided that we wanted to take one last trip. I found a campground in Foxboro, Ma( 45 minutes away) called Normandy Farms Camp Resort. It was ridiculous priced, at $65 per night (off season) and then they charge an extra $5 per child per night! What a rip off! But we decided to try it out because they were offering 50 % off for military members on Veterans Day weekend. Not to mention it was Ryan's birthday weekend too!
It was a very nice campground. They had 3 outdoor pools and an indoor pool, 2 jacuzzi's, and a sauna. They had am awesome playground and an arcade. We had a good site close to the bath house (thank God) since there was no water at the sites because the temps were reaching below freezing at night. We also had the heat going constantly in the camper! We went shopping at the Wrentham outlet mall and then went to the only Bass Pro Shop in New England! ( which was AWESOME!) We also made a stop right next door to the Patriots stadium and took family pics in front of the stadium...can you say dorks, lol.
We tried to have a fire and do smores one night, but it just isn't the same when it is that cold out! I had to go inside cause Carter was fussing and cold and it just sucked! We watched a movie (grown ups) and took the kids swimming. Time went by way to quick and it wasn't the most fun camping trip, but when it came time to leave on Sunday, none of us wanted to go! I have come to the conclusion that we need to move into the camper! I can't wait for next spring!
